Liberty Gaming Heads to the Metaverse! Destination, The Sandbox
The Liberty Gaming web3 journey is underway, and we are off to The Sandbox for Liberty Legends, our first open-metaverse build!
We have some hugely exciting news coming out of Liberty Gaming this week, in what marks the beginning of our “Liberty Gaming in the Metaverse” journey. This exciting new chapter in the evolution of Liberty Gaming begins in The Sandbox, the most popular open-metaverse space in web3.
Do you want to prove yourself as a virtual LeBron James, Michael Jordan or Kobe Bryant? How about Lionel Messi, Ronaldinho or Gianluigi Buffon? Very soon, you’ll be able to do just that in this exciting new development coming from your home of all things GameFi, Liberty Gaming!
Liberty Legends, our GameFi experience currently under development in The Sandbox, is going to provide some thrilling entertainment for our huge community of gamers, particularly those football and basketball fans out there! Two of the most popular sports in the world under one roof, offering fun and engaging mini-games, contests, quests and challenges. We’re very excited about this adventure, and can’t wait to bring it to you!
Liberty Legends
The Liberty Gaming build-out in the Sandbox is utilising all of the latest tech and development capability available in The Sandbox virtual platform, bringing to our audience a vibrant, engaging and competitive experience! We’ll dive deeper into what you can expect to find in the coming weeks as we build to launch, but let’s give you a quick run-through to build up a bit of excitement for you!
In terms of playable experiences within Liberty Legends, you will find:

- Football Goalkeeper Challenge
- Basketball Free Throw Challenge
- Basketball Moving Basket Challenge
- Collect the Balls Quest
- Graffiti Quest
- Football Control Quest
- Interesting Points Quest
There will be plenty more information to come on the quests and challenges, and while I’m sure you can figure some of them out, you’ll have to keep an eye out for the key info about the rest!
The challenges you see above are your path to the Liberty Dome, our arena in the sky and the focal point and goal of our gaming experience. In the Liberty Dome you will find some more basketball and football games, along with parties, and the Liberty Gaming in The Sandbox social hub.
Liberty Legends is not just a game, it’s an experience! This means that, in addition to the very cool challenges and quests to complete, there is a whole world to explore, full of surprises! You’ll find out more in future articles…..!

The challenges and quests are going to be chosen as daily challenges for you to try and get your best possible score and the top performers will earn points and be in with a chance of becoming Liberty Legends of the Week, and even Liberty Legends of the Month!
As the developments continues, we’ll keep you updated with all things Liberty Legends, and we’ll be dropping in some teasers and trailers from time to time to really get you excited for the launch!
