Welcome to the first installment of our Employee Spotlight series, where we’ll get to know more about our team beyond their day jobs.

Do you have any hidden talents?

Lindy hop swing dance. When I was at Northeastern, I went on co-op and had some free time. I was looking for a hobby when I saw the movie “Swing Kids.” They were doing this really energetic dancing and I wanted to see if Boston did that kind of thing. So I Googled it, and Boston has a great swing dance community. I’ve been doing it for 10 years or so.

The one part of your daily routine you couldn’t live without?

Coffee, but that’s so bland. My cat, though — I call that the Sassafras part of my routine — before I go to bed she finds me and sits on the bed, and she says, “it’s me time.” So, Sassafras gets her time.

What’s the one thing that has impressed you most about Liberty Mutual’s digital culture?

The company has definitely realized there’s a new work culture. We do a great job of prioritizing what’s important to focus on. I find it really liberating. We prioritize the space for you to be creative and work on what’s important to you.

Favorite movie?

I saw Bohemian Rhapsody recently…that was pretty good!

Favorite TV show?

Schitt’s Creek on Netflix.

Favorite music?

I’m a big Pearl Jam fan. I loved all the ‘90’s grunge stuff. Maybe a little Regina Spektor to mix things up.

Ranch or blue cheese?

I feel like blue cheese is classic. But ranch…oh God…I feel like I need to be decisive. I’m going blue cheese. I like the tang, what can I say.”
