Introducing License to Chill
New name — same soul
We’re making some slight changes over here at our publication. This involves a name change, and well, that’s about it.
Our former name was Traveling Money. This name had a rich history and was tied to a newsletter; however, this newsletter will cease to exist.
It’s time for License to Chill to settle in.
License to Chill will become the place for writers across Medium to share tips on slowing down, taking a break, and celebrating life.
Productivity hacks are rampant, and we’re not interested.
Sleep in, sit on a bench, have a coffee break, or travel to Mexico. What we want to know about is whatever you do that calms your mind, re-energizes you, and makes you appreciate the world around you.
Did you have an unusual vacation? Let’s hear it.
Have a day off ritual? We want to know about it.
Do you have a quirky family tradition you love? Let’s go.
Relaxation and inspiration looks different to everyone.
When we learn from each other, we all thrive.
Submission guidelines
- Please follow all of Medium’s guidelines.
- Do a thorough edit of your piece using Grammarly or the like.
- Submissions should be in the ballpark of 600–1,000 words. This is a generality. Exceptions will be made for standout work.
- Include a featured image with proper credit and a subtitle.
- Using page breaks and subtitles throughout your article can help the reader reach the bottom of the piece.
All writers from Traveling Money have been carried over to License to Chill.
