When you work for yourself, your mind is always at work.

It feels impossible to shut your brain off. If only we could take it out of our heads and put it on a shelf.

Sometimes you miss the point you should stop because you keep thinking, “Just one more thing.” When, in fact, if you stopped and picked up again in the morning, you would be way more productive.

Being a solo entrepreneur can feel unrelenting. You’re the only employee, marketer, writer, social media manager, accountant, and IT tech. It’s on you to get all of it finished without losing your mind in the process.

Creativity has driven artists into alcoholism, drug abuse, and even untimely death. When creativity is a driving force, the pressure to keep up and keep creating can be unrelenting.
