The Day Christian US Died

Paul Told Us Not to Lie

Ephesians 4:25. There are various translations but Paul pretty clearly told us not to lie.

And his reasoning is identical to George Washington’s in his Farewell Address.

The reasoning?

I like the “New Living Translation” the best. Kind of direct, with very little to leave to the imaginative mind of the liars:

So stop telling lies. Let us tell our neighbors the truth, for we are all parts of the same body.

I once stood in Athens Greece at the Rock where Paul was said to have preached. On the way up to the Parthenon. And just thought. You know. He was not preaching to his own country’s people.

He was preaching to all people. He was not making Israel great again.

It was February 21, 2018. A couple of years into Trump’s Presidency. After two years of constant lying leading and defining US. A little later Trump declared in all seriousness looking to Heaven “I am the Chosen One.”
