Hump Day

It’s hump day and it’s raining

Stuck in the midst of the week

The weekend is close enough to taste

But still too far for us to speak

Energy is at a premium

Everyone should please give me room

My wick is burnt to the very end

And you def. don’t want to see me go boom

Let’s look ahead a few days

Sleeping in, Netflix and chill

Maybe even hit up a bar

We can chase our shots with thrill

Let’s all band together

We can make it arm and arm

I almost didn’t write this day

I guess this time’s the charm.
