All the judgement and doubt
Hopes and fears
Successes and failures
A lifetime collection
Of walls built up

Behind this smile
All the self importance
Surviving and thriving
Life or death encounters
All my time spread out

To destroy the ego
And rebuild with love
To reject the rejections
To open up to acceptance
And live in peace

What lies within us
What inner strength
A quiet force that dances
An open heart that yearns
For an inner peace

A spiritual warrior
A fearless divinity
Above and beneath no one
Sweet determination and faith
Lost in the wilderness
