We had forgotten all about Zuhre coming over this evening. Derek and Avril were over at our house when Zuhre came to the door. Since we had the draperies closed, we hadn’t seen her pull up.

“Ah, I see you have company,” Zuhre said when Meaghan opened the door. “It’s a good thing I brought extra food along.”

I quickly got up to go out to her car to help carry in the food, getting Derek to come along with me. It wasn’t long before Zuhre was introduced to our friends.

“I’m sorry we didn’t let you know that tonight isn’t a good time to have a few more lessons,” Meaghan apologized for the second time. “Our life is a bit complicated at this time.”

“Mr. Tengri told me about the problems,” Zuhre explained. He suspected that you would be with your friends tonight and suggested that I bring this food. I have also brought a few more translated journal articles,” she explained.
