There is a simple habit you do daily that you may not even notice and it’s killing your inner peace, productivity, and optimism.

Sometimes you do it to yourself first thing in the morning and sets a tone for the day.

For others, it happens many times during the day and becomes a firewall between them and their growth.

And for many of us, it cast a constant shadow on our lives and blinds us from the idea of success and being happy.

The key to your own personal growth and mental well being is to stop comparing yourself to others. Especially people on social media and reality TV you don’t even know.

When you wake up in the morning you should concern yourself with being a better version of yourself than you were yesterday. Not going on social media and scrolling through your feed consuming a bunch of highlight moments from people you barely know.

Social media and other forms of media that focus on oversharing and highlighting the best moments or worst moments (Reality TV) cause the consumers of that content to feel envy or superiority and eventually compare…
