A list of the few talented folks who’ve made Gojek the SuperApp what it is today.
A few weeks ago, as we tried to steer Gojek through uncertain and difficult times ahead, we unfortunately had to say goodbye to many of our colleagues across the company. This was one of the hardest, if not the hardest decision that I, along with many leaders across Gojek had to make during our time building Gojek over the past six years, since we first launched our app. But this post isn’t about me; as hard as it was to make the decision and break the news to everyone, the hardest hit were the great team members who had to be let go through no fault of their own. This post is to talk about them, how awesome they are, and where you can find them.
We’d like to think that when people come to work with us, they get to experience one of the best working environments in the world. Solving problems at scale, in a hyper-growth environment, and working for passionate teams to find ways to use technology to reduce friction in everyday life gives our people invaluable experience and skills that would be an asset anywhere they go.
Personally speaking, one thing that always amazes me about everyone I meet at Gojek is how genuinely passionate and good they are. When I say good, I’m not referring to their skills or how they perform at their job (which are excellent, by the way), but how they always strive to do the right thing with the best of intentions. I’m so proud that we’ve managed to build a culture of wanting to solve problems for society, while operating at the highest levels of integrity and being nice to each other while at it. These kinds of people are the ones you will see in the Gojek Alumni Directory below.
We’ve decided to publish the Gojek Alumni Directory to recognize these individuals who would be an asset for any company. The directory will act as a resource that pulls former Gojek employees into one place so prospective employers can easily access and search for their next superstar hire.

We have opened up this directory on an opt-in basis to anyone impacted by the layoffs we had to do in June, making them easily searchable and accessible for prospective employers. We hope it will prove a useful resource to match our alumni with their next role.
Those who leave Gojek always remain part of the family, and we know that any organization out there will benefit from their passion, dedication and expertise. We really hope that this directory will accelerate the process of matching employers with some of the amazing talent that we’ve had the pleasure to work with.
