Starting out as a simple office celebration in 2007, Huluween has evolved into an all-out fright fest complete with costumes, entertainment, creepy décor, and spooky surprises. We love Huluween so much, it’s scary.

Each year, Hulugans brace themselves for some good ol’ gory competition that puts their creativity and ingenuity to the test. The competition is not for the faint of heart as Hulugans pull out all the stops to put together spell-binding performances for our annual fright fest contest. Teams transform their workspaces into amazing spectacles that in past years have launched us into the Huluverse, transported us into the world of Oz, and turned back time to the Age of Disco. Planning takes months, but memories last forever — or at least until next October, when everyone tries to out-do the year before.

During Huluween, there is no shortage of tricks and treats for all Hulugans to enjoy. We decorate pumpkins, watch spooky movies, pop into the photo BOOth, and sing our hearts out during Scaryoke. Hulugans have also been known to get into some mischief during interactive magic shows and hypnotist acts. With different events brewing in every office, Hulugans are guaranteed to have a wicked time.

In recent years, Huluween has slowly crept its way beyond our office walls. In 2018, we brought Huluween to life for our viewers, making Hulu the ultimate destination for Halloween lovers. And in 2019, we celebrated Huluween with kids and our communities by partnering on events with five nonprofits across the country. Celebrating Huluween is one of the reasons we love life at Hulu.
