Celebrating Black History Month at Motive

To celebrate Black History Month this year, we recognized Black achievements across Motive, accelerating positive transformation, and driving change in the communities around us. Check out how we celebrated the month with a variety of events below.

Throughout the month we nominated and highlighted team members that identify as Black, African American, and/or of African descent. These individuals were nominated for their exceptional work and valuable achievements.

Give Blood week.

Sickle cell anemia affects those of African descent at higher rates and often requires multiple blood transfusions for treatment. To aid in ensuring our communities have the resources they need, our team gave blood through the American Red Cross. Here are some pictures of our team donating!

Supporting nonprofits organizations.

Black Girls Code: BGC builds pathways for young women of color to embrace the current tech marketplace as builders and creators by introducing them to skills in computer programming and technology.

L.E.A.D. (Leadership Education and Development): L.E.A.D. is committed to developing generations of lifelong learners with the capacity to contribute to humankind, equipped to “think differently” about how they learn, when they learn, and the relevancy and application of what they learn.
