In April, our European team gathered in Mallorca for a highly anticipated meet-up. As our team works remotely across different European countries, it’s crucial for us to come together in person periodically to build stronger connections. And what better place to do so than the sunny shores of Mallorca, Spain?

Nestled in the vibrant atmosphere of SPACES Palma Marina, a freshly established office with a breathtaking view of the Mallorcan harbor, we dove headfirst into our work-and-play agenda.

Focus time at the office.

We had lots of meetings where we gathered and shared ideas and plans. We’re excited about what’s next, not only from the perspective of Propeller platform development but also for shaping our team and strengthening our European community.

One of the standout benefits of our meet-ups is always the ability to collaborate more effectively on projects and tasks that benefit from in-person interaction. Ideas flow more freely, bouncing effortlessly between team members and sparking innovation in real time.

But it was the Insights Personality workshop that stole the show.

Since our team is growing rapidly, we must know how to communicate effectively. This intensive 4-hour session provided profound insights into our individual personalities and equipped us with invaluable tools for fostering functional communication across diverse personality types within our team.

What made this workshop particularly remarkable was its ability to bring us closer together. By getting into various backgrounds, skill sets, and personal stories, we gained a deeper understanding of each other’s perspectives. After the workshop ended, we still felt the laughter and sense of togetherness hanging around, lasting long after we left the room.

“Community is much more than belonging to something; it’s about doing something together that makes belonging matter.” — Brian Solis

And, of course, we can’t talk about our trip to Mallorca without mentioning the amazing food we had. We ate delicious paellas and enjoyed other tasty Spanish dishes that made every meal feel like a feast fit for royalty. It was a prime example of our Propeller culture, where sharing meals is a common practice that strengthens our connections.

Despite our short stay in Mallorca — just four days — we know the memories won’t fade easily. Here’s acknowledging the influence of Mallorca’s charm and the value of gathering together, beneath the Mediterranean sun, what’s the best place to be — Propeller!
