I first heard of Stripe when I was working at a French accelerator–many within the French startup community are big Stripe advocates, so I was curious to know more. In connecting with Stripe over LinkedIn, I saw how smart and nice the people were and was convinced that I wanted to work here. To this day, I’m reminded how true this is.
I’m a part of the User Operations team in Dublin, working to support our French users. In Dublin, we’ve got a great crew with a lot of varied experience who openly share their knowledge and know how to have a great time.
Since I started a few months ago, I’ve learned more than I could imagine was possible. I’m able to learn new skills every day since there are so many projects to work on in such a fast-paced environment. I also learn a lot from interacting with our users and different teams across Stripe.
I really feel like my work at Stripe is making a difference. It’s exciting to build relationships with businesses around the world, helping to handle payments so that our users can focus on running their business. I have the opportunity to empower our users on a daily basis, as well as work on projects that can impact the whole organization, whether that be developing internal trainings, managing external relationships, or helping create the scaling process as we grow to support more countries and more languages.
