START Summit 2021: Virtual Comeback Inviting All Tech Enthusiasts to Join our Tech Adventure!

After a successful event last year, Tokopedia returns once again with START Summit in 2021. START Summit is Tokopedia’s biggest annual technology conference, where it showcases various technology innovations made throughout its journey to democratize commerce through technology. This summit will showcase a vast array of topics on Tokopedia’s technology breakthroughs and innovations: from Core Engineering, Infrastructure & Productivity, and Data.

Adapting to the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic, START Summit 2021 will be held virtually on Saturday, 3 July 2021. With all of the limitations, the conference will still ensure a 360 experience for the audience by providing 15 breakout stages, demos, networking rooms, and more. Let’s see the stages that you can watch at the START Summit 2021!

Core Engineering Stage

At the Core Engineering stage, you can learn about the essentials of engineering such as programming, product development, monitoring, and managing complex integrated promo events. Here are the titles of each session in the Core Engineering stage:

Infrastructure & Productivity Stage

For those of you who are passionate about Infrastructure & Productivity, we have a dedicated stage for you! Here’s the list of the session titles:

At this stage, you will learn how Tokopedia uses its Multi-Cloud system and optimizes its DevOps to assure a reliable system in support of innovations made within the ecosystem. The event is truly a learning experience for everyone, including our tech talents and tech leaders. Nathania Sutedja, one of our speakers in the Core Engineering stage, tells us how this event encouraged her to learn and adapt a growth mindset to always innovate for Tokopedia:

I’m very happy and grateful to be able to share our story with the community at START 2021. For as long as I’ve been an Android Developer, I’ve always wanted to know how other people are developing their apps, how to tackle problems, and especially about Android Performance.

It was also a rough journey for us to find out how we can further improve our apps. I am a huge fan of the growth mindset. I hope my experience in learning and improving our app can help and inspire developers to create something even greater than what we did.
