Tokopedia Center: Reaching Indonesia to further Democratize Commerce Through Technology
Tokopedia recently launched its first experience center.
Tokopedia opened its first Tokopedia Center in Boyolali last Friday. Visitors of Tokopedia Center can do many things, whether it is making online-to-offline (O2O) transactions, learning to use the Tokopedia app, paying bills, or purchasing tickets. Tokopedia seller community, TopCommunity, is also welcome to gather and attend online business classes at the Tokopedia Center.
Tokopedia Center is launching in Palu and Padang later this month.
“Tokopedia Center is a true form of Tokopedia’s commitment to democratize commerce through technology. The Center will enable people to start business and access online commerce, and thus accelerate Indonesia’s economic growth,” said Doni Nathaniel, Senior Strategic Development for Tokopedia Center.
One Tokopedia Center visitor, Langgeng, was an employee at a local electronic shop in Boyolali. Langgeng was hesitant to sell at Tokopedia because he assumed selling at Tokopedia costs a fee. At Tokopedia Center, we explained to Langgeng that it is free and easy to open a shop in Tokopedia.
