This year is going to be different. This year, I will be a better version of myself! You vowed loudly to yourself when the clock hits 0:00 AM on January 1st. You are committed to making this the year that you will see all the positive changes that you have always seek for. After a week, you slowly find yourself falling to old habits. You hit the snoozed button in the morning and skipped the morning jog again. You reach into that cookie bags that you promised to stay away from. You are surfing online to look for things to buy. You know you are detouring from your plan and begin to lose positivity. Please, someone, help me, you whisper to yourself as your new year begins to look a lot like any other year.

Every year, millions of people create a list of new year resolutions and goals with utmost optimism and determination. Within a month or two, most people fall off their plans. As time goes on, people tend to step into another cycle due to various circumstances. Many people wonder if it is impossible to change for the better as they commit to the same goals over and over again. In reality, the only reason why they fail to change, maybe because they focus on the wrong priorities. Instead of setting goals and focuses on results, one shall concentrate on better themselves.
