It is the 6th week since Shelter at Home order has been given. You are starting to feel a bit coop up at home. It has been weeks since your last zoom meeting with your friends and families. At first, you were expecting this to be a short term adjustment, but soon, you realized that normalcy is still very far away. After completing season 2 of The Kingdom on Netflix, you asked yourself, “Is this the only thing I can do for entertainment? What else can I do to forget about the pandemic? What can I do for fun during this time?

When a person or a group of individuals are being isolated or confined to an indoor environment over some time, they may start to experience symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, sleeplessness, or even anger, which generally referred to cabin fever. Back in the old-time, many families or individuals were trapped in their houses during the harsh winter, and it was one of the challenges that were hard to overcome. Since all of us have been confined to our home for over six weeks, we can only imagine the negative impacts of shelter at home placed on our psychological and emotional states.
