Thank You

Words of gratitude to our first responders

The world has changed a month ago

and saddened all our hearts

but there is hope as we all know

and here is where it starts.

Our first responders work so hard,

risking their own lives. God bless them all

for being there and stifling our cries.

We raise our hand, salute them all

and pray that this will pass

and once again the sun will shine

and we’ll enjoy the grass.

We’ll toast our friends and celebrate

together as before and hug our parents really hard

with overwhelming joy.

Salute to life and freedom and friendship everyday

and pray that once again, it will return and will be here to stay.
