Campus & Hostel Life @ IIT Mandi

IIT Mandi permanent campus is located at Kamand and is divided into two parts: South and North Campus. All the 4 B.tech Batches along with some PG students stay at South Campus. Most of the PG students (MS/Ph.D/M.Sc) stay at North Campus. The construction of south campus phase I is almost complete whereas the north campus is still under construction.

The south campus is relatively smaller than the north campus and consists of the academic blocks, playgrounds and other administrative related offices. Currently the sports facilities for Cricket, Badminton, Lawn Tennis, Football, Table Tennis, Volleyball, Athletics, Basketball and Hockey are available in the campus. The construction is going at a great pace and soon IIT Mandi will have a full fledged campus comparable to those of old IITs.

One of the advantage of being situated in Himachal Pradesh is the scenic beauty you get in and around the campus. Having visited other IITs, I could say that IIT Mandi has one of the most beautiful campus of all.
