Straight Talk on #OpenQNL

From the Early Clues Liminal.Vault

Now that Early Clues is “popular,” we thought we’d “dust off” a few “tchotchkes” from the ol’ Liminal.Vault. This excerpt from the Early Clues, LLC Employee Handbook is a great introduction to our “Core Programming Paradigm,” OpenQNL. Enjoy. It’s Mandatory!

We all know OpenQNL is amazing, game-changing even. But what none of us are prepared to admit publicly, really, is that none of us here at Early Clues actually know what OpenQNL is even capable of. In fact, we don’t even know what it is….

Early Clues: committed to radical transparency. We’re so transparent, we’re invisible!

What OpenQNL is:

  1. A super-cool acronym!
  2. A proto-programming language for people who don’t know — or don’t want to learn — “conventional” programming languages, but who wish to programmatically and artfully manipulate immersive & augmented spaces, hybrid cyber-ecosystems & diverse distributed technological agents & interfaces.

What OpenQNL is not:

  1. A Techno-Dictator: OpenQNL adapts to *your* working style, physical form factor and organizational consciousness, and not the other way around!
  2. Old-Fashioned: This ain’t your “daddy’s” programming language. Throw out what you know and get ready to go with the flow!

The OpenQNL Difference:

Ever wanted to learn how to program but felt like you were too stupid when you read even just a few sentences like the following:

When you first begin to learn, choose an easy-to-learn, high level language such as Python. Later, you may move on to a lower level language such as C or C++ to better understand how exactly programs run and interact. Perl and Java are languages for beginners. Research your target application to learn if there are languages you should definitely know (e.g. SQL for databases) or avoid. Don’t be confused by jargon like “object-oriented”, “concurrent”, or “dynamic”; these all mean things, but you won’t be able to understand them until you actually have some programming experience.

You’re not alone, dear friend. Why should you have to wait before you understand?

With OpenQNL, you’re 75% less likely to feel intellectually overwhelmed, because OpenQNL works according to the rules of ordinary language and syntax. Don’t worry again about line breaks, semi-colons, commas or curly brackets — unless you want to! Whatever you’re into or accustomed to working with, OpenQNL works how you work.

Integrating OpenQNL into Your Inner Computing Regime:

The trouble with most programming languages is that you need a computer to run them. While OpenQNL runs on all conventional computing platforms, it is the unique programming language in the world which may also be run (in compatible environments) through customizable spoken word, facial, hand, physical gestures, and ritualized action sets.

If you don’t have a computer, you can run OpenQNL directly in your mind — or even if you do have a computer! Heck, you can even use OpenQNL to integrate your computing tasks into your inner environment: creating programmatic links between thoughts, feelings and functional outcomes in receptive environments.

We call it Inner Computing.

Welcome to the New Golden Age.
