1) Impressive Size

Grizzlies are one of the largest bear species. An adult grizzly bear can reach up to eight feet in length and weigh around 900 pounds.

A grizzly can lift up to 500 pounds with one paw. You definitely don’t want to come across a grizzly in the wild!

3) Diverse Diet

Many times these bears are portrayed as carnivores, but grizzlies are actually omnivores. The diet of a grizzly bear includes fish, mammals, berries, and various types of plants.

4) Lifespan of 20–25 Years

A grizzly bear can live up to 20-25 years in the wild. Living more than two decades in the wild is unusual, as most animals live around 10–12 years.
