True nature of society vs what actually happens
My personal perspective
Laws are not there to weed or stop seeds from growing. It should be there to protect anyone from harm’s way or things people do with bad intentions. If someone forces another or do something to another without their consent for malicious or for personal greed then the law should be there to protect the victims and ensure that the justice is well served. However, there are some laws that prevent seeds or try to weed to make the society a forced creation.
The reason seems to be people have a future vision of how it should be and they have a harvest in mind or a return on investment. Therefore the ones who steer try to steer the society’s direction to that vision they have. The problem is the person who steers normally changes or their vision changes, then they change the direction as well. So, in other words, people who have the control think the society as a farm or a paddy field. They all expect a harvest at the end. So they allow some seeds to grow and resist other seeds until they die. In other words, they weed their farm or paddy field. They have that sense or their paddy field or their farm when it comes to control.
People somehow come up with new things, so these are like seeds, some are good and some are bad. Either way, it’s not the law’s duty to put stones above the seeds till they die. Because they don’t even know how the seed will grow and what the effect would be. Also, it’s not the law’s duty to weed. How can law select weeds out of all others? It’s the requirement or the common agreement of the ones who steer the society to the way they want. They pick which are weed and which are not, for the sake of their ultimate harvest.
In reality, the law is there to protect one from another if threatened and to execute necessary procedures to serve justice if one got affected. In reality, the true nature of society can be seen as a huge self-sustaining majestic forest. But due to the ones who have the control, they’ve made these forests their paddy fields or farms. Now, these forests are not majestic anymore. They are just mere farms or paddy fields which serves one purpose, which is to give a harvest to the those who control it when they expect it. Therefore, it’s hard to see any good seeds grow because all get weeded and seeds get destroyed even before they grow and show their colours.
I may be suggesting to go back to stone ages and live like cavemen in forests. However, that’s not what I’m suggesting. Understand the true nature of a society and let it flourish. It will grow into majestic self it should be and the forest itself will make sure it’s sustainability and biodiversity. Have anyone heard of someone weeding a forest? Also, have anyone heard of any species died in that forest out of food? So this is the true nature of a society I think. So shall we just let it be and see how majestic the true society is or do we really need to go on and on trying to weed things without reasonable understanding to steer a society to a desirable destination only to harvest once more and start the whole thing once again?
After all, if a society needs to be weeded and controlled by laws alone then there’s no such society at all, it’s just a prison or a rehabilitation facility. Society is something free and flourishes itself with minimal external intervention. Interactions shouldn’t be governed or controlled by force by laws alone. That definitely means the society has deteriorated to the point of self-destruction and it’s unable to survive or flourish by its own.
