In offices across the globe, Dropbox employees are working to create better products and experiences for users. One such space is our Tel Aviv outpost, where site manager Meir Morgenstern has led his team in figuring out new, effective ways to collaborate with teams around the world.

“We’re based in Israel, but most of the Dropbox products we worked on involved our peers in San Francisco. Because of this, our team had to be very collaborative in order to work fluidly with our friends in the United States. It’s something that we’ve worked hard to improve on over the years — in the beginning, we had a lot of learning to do because of both the distance and cultural differences.

The Tel Aviv team was behind the Dropbox AdminX initiative launched in 2016. I realized quickly that collaborating well with others was essential for team delivery. That requires defining what you want to achieve and making sure you get there — making sure that the value of collaboration is at the forefront of your thoughts.”

The Tel Aviv office joined Dropbox’s forces in 2015 after successfully working together on a third-party application. One of their core teams, Team Audit Log, is responsible for confirming that IT Admins deploying Dropbox Business at their organization have the right tools to do so safely and securely. The audit log also powers third-party integrations and tracks activity and surface data, and plays a crucial role in helping Dropbox pass IT compliance requirements, which is a must-have for bringing in new customers.

And it’s fitting that so many licenses should be represented by this small yet diverse group of Dropboxers. They come from a variety of backgrounds and interests. Some were sports stars: Natalie Klotz led Brown’s varsity women’s rugby team through an undefeated season, while Dadi Levy played competitive basketball against some of the best players in the world. Others find their passion in creating art: Ariel Bloch was the illustrator and chief editor of his student newspaper in college, and Itzik Kasovitch still loves treating his team to delicious homemade food and baked goods.

All together, our Tel Aviv Dropboxers bring a spirit of teamwork and innovation that inspires other offices across the globe. We’re proud to have them as part of our team. To learn more about our global teams and how you can become a part of one, visit https://www.dropbox.com/jobs
