Annual Turkey Drive
When you think of October, one may automatically associate this time of year with pumpkins, jack-o’-lanterns, Halloween costumes, and spooky movies. While there’s no denying our love of pumpkin and traditional Halloween festivities, here at Noodles the week of October 17th-October 23rd we shift our focus to turkey. That’s right, an entire week of October dedicated to turkeys!
This week we kicked off our second annual Feed Our Family Holiday Turkey Drive to support fellow team members who may be in need over the holidays. Everyone deserves a bountiful, healthy, family meal especially around the holidays! Compared to our partnership with No Kid Hungry the Turkey Drive may seem like a fairly small event however, it makes a tremendous difference in many lives within the Noodles family. Last year we were able to reach almost 700 team members in need with turkey donations. The impact from last year is reflected below in a few of the comments our benefits team received from team members in the field:
“I gotta say I really enjoyed this! It was heartwarming to watch my TM’s eyes light up when I handed out to one person. My GM’s who also gave to their people also had the same reaction. It brought some to tears because they were so grateful!”

This year, our goal is to surpass 2017’s outreach and provide 750 turkeys to Noodlers’ in need. This is driven by 100% voluntary employee donations and embodies our “We Care” value here at Noodles. We provide these meal donations through paper vouchers sent out to our field leaders in mid-November and then distributed to their teams. Vouchers are issued out to our team members discretely and valid through June 30, 2019.
It is truly an inspirational week seeing the immense amount of support coming through from our teams across the country. Proud to say 4 days to donate remaining and going strong!
