Sixth Chapter The President
On the day Secretary Garfinkel came to see her, President Helena Abagnale followed her typical itinerary. The only thing resembling official business had been a short briefing from her AI assistant.
She had met several classes of school children, greeted a couple of tour groups, signed some autographs, handed out some Merit and Eagle Badges to Scouts, and had given a medal to a 120-year-old veteran of the Drone Wars before lunch. Oh yeah, she had made a brief speech to a convention of software engineers meeting in San Diego via hologram over the Cloud.
