I was sitting in front of my Laptop, staring at the empty page with the cursor blinking at me. The warm chair felt uncomfortable. I looked at my phone; it showed 9:51 AM.

I had promised myself I’d write every morning for at least 90 days. But today?

Today felt different. I was tired. It was a hot summer day. I deserved a break, right?

That’s when I remembered something Michell C. Clark once said:

“Keep going, because the commitments you’ve made to yourself are more important than the excuses that make you feel better in the moment.”

I put my phone down and started writing.

That’s the unfair advantage of sticking around. You get better, whether you like it or not.

What happens when you give up on giving up? Let me explain.

The Quitting Epidemic
