Editorial Guidelines For Life Tips
We only accept 20% of submissions we receive, follow the guidelines below to increase your odds…
We’d love to accept a higher percentage, but many of the submissions don’t fit what we’re looking to publish.
Keep in mind that this is a labor of love for us, and we receive many submissions every single day. So, we have a limited ability to provide feedback on every submission we receive.
Editorial Guidelines
- Focused on improvement. The message conveyed must help people get to the next point in their lives. Whether that is through personal experience, failure, life lessons, or business success, as long as your article is about improvement, you are on the right track.
- Displays vulnerability. We’re all human. Yet, when presenting ourselves to the world we often put on a face that everything is going perfectly. As a result, we start to compare our true experiences to other people’s highlight reels. This can make us feel like we’re doing something wrong or not doing enough. When we all share our authentic stories; we all feel less alone. We want to hear about the honest truths that take courage and vulnerability to share.
- Actionable. Articles should have tip(s) and takeaway(s) that readers can utilize in their personal life, relationships and careers.
- Readable. The reality is that many people today now read articles on their mobile device and just skim. To help people in this context truly absorb the articles, please use the following guidelines to make your article as readable as possible:
