Naked Body, Naked Thoughts. #NoFilters.

Intimacy and love aren’t harder to find,
its just harder to find people who are willing to be naked with you.
Naked with emotions, with thoughts, fears and dreams.
To find someone to truly trust, to be exposed and vulnerable.
#Nofilters.
We swipe left and right, looking for the best image to capture our eyes.
But try to find someone to fall in love with you emotionally before a physical attachment — that’s a challenge.
But what can I expect when we live in a world where we filter a sunset?
You'll share a bed with a body but won’t tell them you like ice cubes in your cereal for extra cold milk, because that makes you weird.
You’ll give parts of yourself but won’t talk about how your favorite time of the day is right before the sun sets and the moon rises. That you think the moon stares at the sun in awe of her beauty right before she goes to sleep — a forbidden romance. Because that makes no sense, and why would anyone care?
You'll lie naked next to a person but refuse to send them a text first, you have to follow the ‘rules’, because you don’t want to look ‘clingy’ or ‘desperate’.
We expose our bodies but hide our thoughts, our personalities, filtering our hearts.
But it’s okay, because everyone “doesn’t care”, and it’s “all having fun” a new generation of no feeling, no commitment.
It’s about pleasure, to have your cake and eat it too.
How about you stimulate my brain?
But what can I expect when we live in a world where we filter a sunset?
I’ll still take my sunsets flaws and all, heart bleeding red #NoFilters … extra ice cubes in my cereal, staring at the moon in awe of the sun — sending the first text.
