We take pride in ourselves but imitate others

We have more opinions but less tolerance

We have free speech but captive hearing

We have more experts but less solutions

We plan more but implement less

We debate more but do less

We’ve conquered space but not our prejudices

We want peace but go to war

We defend God more but pray less

We preach equality but discriminate more

We are united by hatred but divided by love

We have great wealth but even more poverty

We have higher degrees but lower intelligence

We have greater comforts but lesser satisfaction

We have more convenience but less time

We have bigger houses but smaller homes

We earn more but give less

We produce more yet more remain hungry

We have better medicines but poorer health

We have more options but lesser communication

We have more friends but less friendships

We want a change but don’t want to change

This is the paradox of our times.
