What Should I Do With My Life?
It’s not like we don’t spend enough time trying to figure out what we should do with our life. On the contrary, we probably spend too much time trying to figure out what we should be doing.
What we fail to do is let go of our preconceived notions and fears of what other people will think of us if we do what we really want. We put off what we intuitively know we should do, in order to avoid potential embarrassment.
Instead we look for a substitute, something that seems less risky, something “safe.”
But is it really all that safe to not do what you know you should do?
Sometimes what seems safe can be the riskiest thing of all.
