The young woman ascended the throne,
After the death of her father, the King.
Queen Elizabeth, she was known,
In lands both close, far, and wide,
Among people of all countries, her fame spread.
The platinum Queen has passed away,
Her memory grows in her people every day.

Queen Elizabeth was the longest-serving monarch,
Was whispered over the ocean in the breeze.
She raised her family and managed her home,
While she took care of the people and her country,
Queen Elizabeth was a woman of power and strategy.
She saw her family through the best and worst of times,
She led her country through perilous and shaky times.
Her wise reign of power spread through all climes.

The platinum Queen has passed away,
Her memory grows in her people every day.
Queen Elizabeth was a woman of power,
She was a woman of strength and presence.
Queen Elizabeth was a woman of the hour,
She cared for her people in every sense…
