I used to write about parenting — a lot.

I don’t anymore, for a variety of reasons.

Maybe I’m tired, maybe too jaded; maybe I’m just over it.

There’s only so much advice that you can give, right? Also, there’s that whole “nature vs. nurture” argument that’s still out for consideration. The answer about which one dominates depends on whom you ask.

Regardless, there are some basic findings and truths that I’ve figured out while raising four kids over four different decades.

They’re not particularly inspiring, they might be somewhat depressing but one thing they are for sure — they’re true.
