This week saw the launch of a new edit of products in our Women Supporting Women collection, part of our ongoing partnership with leading youth charity The Prince’s Trust. Exclusively designed by female-led businesses from across notonthehighstreet, 10% of every sale from the collection will be donated to the charity’s Women Supporting Women initiative, which helps young women gain the skills needed to live, learn and earn.

We partnered with The Prince’s Trust in March 2019 to support its mission to empower women with a creative and entrepreneurial flair and have provided mentorship to more than 20 people on the charity’s Women Supporting Women programme.

Eleanor Nadimi, a mentee on the programme, is now selling with notonthehighstreet with her business One Nine Eight Five. She says “Notonthehighstreet’s belief in what we do has been incredibly humbling. I have been lucky enough to have been invited to have a shopfront on their platform and their support in assisting me to get this live, as well as developing my current collection to cater for the gift sector, has been brilliant. I feel truly privileged to be a part of the mentee programme.”

Claire Davenport, CEO, at notonthehighstreet adds, “We’re a business that has been built up by amazing women — from our co-founders through to the 82% of female-led businesses that sell on our platform today. It is incredibly important to us that we’re able to pay forward some of the opportunities we’ve benefited from to the young women on The Prince’s Trust Women Supporting Women programme, all of whom show such creative talent and entrepreneurial flair.”

To date more than £265,000 has been raised for The Prince’s Trust via our Paypal collaboration and sales from the Women Supporting Women collections.
