Employee Spotlight: Sarah Long, Client Engagement Manager
Hey Everyone, meet Sarah Long, Client Engagement Manager with Bisk. We asked her a few questions about herself and her experience as a Bisk Employee.
Question #1: What’s your favorite aspect of working at Bisk?
I absolutely love the people. I’ve been here for over 8 years and it’s my second family. We’re a unique melting pot.
Question #2: What’s the most important lesson you’ve learned in the last year?
Change is good. Life is change. Don’t resist it. Don’t be stagnant. Flow with change. Embrace it and regard it as an adventure.
Question #3: What’s the last book you read? What did you learn?
For people that don’t know me, I’m already a very happy person, so 10% happier than I already am is a lot. Like galactic level happiness. Feel free to ask. This book taught me about listening to my inner voice or ignoring it if it’s self-doubt, as well as taking time each day for reflection and meditation.
I haven’t figured it all out by any means, but I am more aware and working to become a better, less-stressed version of myself.
Question #4: How did you first learn about Bisk?
I was contacted by a recruiter. Honestly, I wrote “Bisque” in my notes when I first heard the name. Yeah — like lobster bisque. Whoops.
Question #5: (just for fun): Where’s your favorite place in the world?
I’d have to say Boca Grande, Florida. I’ve gone there for years and it’s a place that I find peace, relaxation, beauty and adventure.
