It is purely amazing to see how one starts his journey with passion, determination and full of zeal when they enter their work life. Same as we speak of our today’s highlighted person, Sunny Darji. He has been with Ikigai for 6 years now and we can definitely consider him as one of them who were a part of the success of Ikigai for the past many years.
Sunny’s Journey to Ikigai
Specifically speaking of the journey of Sunny bhai, he has been a true family to Ikigai and vice versa. To start with, how wonderful his years of experience have been with us, let me take you back to the days and share with you one fine incident of how everything happened and how he got here in the first place.
The story is quite funny to share, but this is what one would say is destiny. Sunny Bhai mentioned how he filled out the application form for Ikigai and another company, and he had interviews with both the companies on the same day. He first went with full determination to the other company but he didn’t even see the office and went to give an interview for Ikigai.
We don’t know the reason for this. Then he came to Ikigai’s office and met the HR person along with Piyush, the Co-Founder. Well, here we are sharing this story. So yes, he was selected as the Accountant, and it was quite an addition to the Ikigai tribe.
How his initial days looked like?
His initial days were very exciting, full of work enthusiasm and an amazing work culture. Working directly with the founders gave him the opportunity to prove himself the best Ikigaian in these past years.
Sunny started his work with Ikigai by handling the accounts part for initial 10–12 employees and as and when Ikigai grew, the responsibility of him managing more than a few people by covering a lot of areas single handedly is truly inspiring. You might have heard of one man army, well here we have been seeing and getting inspired as the days passes by.
Some amazing qualities that outshined him?
One of the most amazing things about him is that he is always ready on one step to do whatever is asked of him, even as a favor. Such a quality of a person is truly inspiring. Let me share with you one more incident, which he shared with me one fine day over a cup of tea and parle-G.
When he joined Ikigai, there was no dedicated person for the HR or IT department, and it was him only who was looking after the assets, IT, and mostly everything that came his way. His story is a powerful reminder that sometimes, the right path finds you in the most unexpected ways.
Sunny bhai is very determined in everything he does, and we really admire his courage to take big steps in his career. His journey inspires us to pursue what we love with great courage and dedication.
