Hybrid Work Model: Ikigai’s Recipe For Success!

‘Work from home — the new normal’ they say is going to be a permanent fixture of any organization. However, the technology for the remote setup had existed for many years before the pandemic. Covid forced people to adapt to remote work setup and in no time, it became a deliberate choice in the mind of almost every working individual.
Now the challenge for any organisation was to ensure employee well-being and engagement were taken care of with the remote/hybrid work set-up in order to create a healthy workplace culture.
We at Ikigai believe in ‘remote first’.
With a team size of nearly 50 geographically distributed members, we have adopted a hybrid work model. One of the secret ingredients in making this set-up a success is the virtual meet we organise at Ikigai called All Hands!
Every 15–20 days, we nominate two random members from cross-functional teams to host the meet. The nominated team is supposed to come up with really fun and exciting activities for the members to take part in.

We connected on one such amazing evening, where the challenge was to identify the products from its tagline followed by creating your own!
And just like this, we shall continue to face any challenges that come our way. In today’s time keeping the employees engaged not just with the team members but with the organization at large is very crucial.
