From IT Admin to Happiness Hero
A journey of Determination and Dedication!
Sayujya started his career as a Network Administrator, at an IT service company after finishing his higher education in 2019. After a year or so, he wanted an organisation switch, and that’s when he came across an opportunity at Saleshandy. Initially, Sayujya could not get through the hiring process however, he was resilient enough to join Saleshandy and hence he kept trying. With his tenacious attitude and dedication, he joined Saleshandy as an IT Administrator.
The constant support of the Saleshandy folks made him feel great about himself from the very first day. “I never had any restrictions when it came to trying out new things. Having the freedom to make the right decisions, and taking up initiatives made me more comfortable working with Saleshandy. The best thing about working as an IT Admin was that I got a space to be a decision maker, think of alternatives and make the right decisions.” he recounts back on his professional journey.
He always wanted to make an impact through his contribution to the organisation. Worked as an individual contributor most of the times as that was the demand of his role, he never got a chance to work with a team. “I always loved to see how the customer-facing team got a chance to interact with the customers, engineers, product team, marketing folks and even the founders to make the right decisions for the organization and their end goal.” said Sayujya, when asked about the time his career trajectory experienced a shift.
After his joining, within a short period of time, he realised where his true interest lies. With courage and hope, he approached the founders’ for a career shift. And that’s how Sayujya started his journey as a Customer Support Specialist at Saleshandy. His desire to work towards the end goals of the organisation and his curiosity to know more about the product made him the Happiness Hero of Saleshandy. He thrives on seeing the happy faces of the customers every day!
“Never stop to hustle and never stop learning! I own this and follow this. This is my key to achieving impactful work!” quoted Sayujya when asked about his working principle.
Sayujya is determined towards whatever he does and his courage to take a leap in his career path is something which we admire a lot. It would be safe to say that he found his ikigai at Saleshandy! His journey inspires us to chase what we love with utmost courage and dedication!
