skinned knees run

too quick to learn

wears school uniforms

sets morning alarms

night, chumming in pain

day, humming in rain

saree so pretty

wise and witty

eyes know sorcery

forgets grocery

at mall stores

cries and bores

denims & skirts

laughter outbursts

chases deadlines

makes headlines

loves to roam

stays at home

mends and sew

soul threads through

that unsung hero

complete yet zero

Can hurt or patch!

flaws so flawless

with or within YOU
