Stardom

It appears as a

teeny-tiny topaz

after her Sun sets

in the mouldings of

realms unknown,

there are no rays to

light her path now

she combats the coldness

of the celestial-eyes gazing at her

some mock, few sympathise

she keeps walking

night shudders her

trying to smother;

more it grows, more she glows

bright, brighter, brightest

versus

dark, darker, darkest

discovering the only way to stardom

is through the black vacuum

VENUS,

the evening star

rises up at the dawn-break

& shines as a morning star
