God: “Knowing” vs “Knowing-About”

Knowing God is one thing; knowing about God is another.

The first happens to the heart, requires faith, and is based (strictly) on personal and direct encounters with God.

The latter happens to the brain, doesn’t care about faith, and is based (merely) on history, proofs, or opinions about God.

The crux: If you only know about, you don’t really know.
