I recently read this story from another Medium writer whose writing I enjoy and it reminded me of our story about Hot Springs National Park so I thought I’d share and maybe give you a laugh.
My husband, James, and I had dreamed of a nomadic lifestyle for over 10 years and in 2020 we were finally able to make that happen. We sold our house and almost everything we owned and we hit the road. Now that we’ve been traveling for almost 4 full years now, we’ve seen a lot of things and we’ve been a lot of places.
I say all that to say — sometimes things get a little mixed up in my mind and I forget where we’ve been.
One of the things we love to do in our travels is visit National Parks. If we’re going to be anywhere near one as we drive through a state, you better believe I’m going to try to fit that in to our itinerary. ;)
