April Third Week Prompt of Lifeline
Greetings poets,
We are in the third week of April. Time flies in a blink of an eye. I am here to let you give some ideas to write some more poems.
This week’s theme is “Gratitude”.
Some days are good and some days are bad. On the other side, some days are steady. For the last some days, I was struggling to find meaning in my morning. It seems like I tried hard to be happy but I just could not feel it from the inside. Everything is going well in life, but still, I didn’t feel happy and excited. Some days feel like a burden. I was completely blank and didn’t know what to do.
It’s hard to make every day exciting and happy. When we say we want to live every day happy it’s easy to say but hard to do. There are so many things surrounding ourselves which are negative and are enough to make us feel low.
It’s hard to find meaning, happiness, and satisfaction in this constantly changing world. It happens with almost everyone when they find their lives becoming dull sometimes. We all have very little time to do some adventure because of our overwhelming schedules.
So, after trying so hard there is only one thing that I found helpful to make my every morning hopeful and happy.
“The real gift of gratitude is that the more grateful you are, the more present you become.”
-Robert Holden
Gratitude is a key to happiness. As a human, we have the nature of wanting more. When we don’t have a particular thing which we want, we brag about it and say if we get it we will be happy. Once we get it, we want more of it. Our desire can never be satisfied. At that moment, gratitude gives us contentment, joy, and happiness.
This week’s prompt is,
Write a poem on the things you are grateful for in life. A poem that you can read every day to start a new day with possibilities and hope.
A poem that gives you a reason to wake up every morning. I made a routine to start my day with a gratitude prayer to God for giving me this life. It boosts my positivity and promotes a sense of joy in everything I do.
We should not wait for the special moment to share our gratitude.
Be grateful for the warm cup of morning tea you are enjoying. Find gratefulness in small things. It makes you more friendly and appreciative. You can also make a habit of writing a gratitude journal. Believe me, it works like magic.
Gratitude is a superpower, that helps me to stay happy and humble every day.
-Sahil Patel

The Poem of The Week
The poem of the week is written by Elvie Lins❤️in response to the previous week's prompt of Lifeline.
She shared her struggles through a great poem. We all have family problems but sometimes it breaks us from the inside which makes life harder to live.
Here, you can read her poem.
If you like my work and want to support me. You can make my day by buying me a cup of coffee.
