April’s Fourth Week Prompt Of Lifeline
A Poetic Celebration Of Earth Day

In my culture, we call the earth “Mother Earth". Earth is like a mother who gives us life and nurtures us. She is like a mother who feeds you without asking for anything in return and provides shade in those hot summers, you can hurt her still she loves you. She provides us an unconditional love just like our mothers do.
Mother Earth is important to all of us because it provides us with air to breathe, land to stay in, water to drink, and food to eat. As a human, it’s our responsibility to protect our mother earth. We have to protect the mother earth to address the global issues like climate change, pollution, loss of habitat. These issues not only impact our environment but it also affect our livelihood, health, and our future generations as well.
This week in Lifeline, we’re celebrating Mother Nature. We’re honoring Earth Day and the beauty of our natural world with poetry that highlights our deep connection to the environment. Let’s appreciate the forests, oceans, and skies, and remember our responsibility to care for our planet. Join us as we celebrate Mother Nature’s love and strength through our heartfelt poetry.
