As a child, when summer vacation comes, one thing that I look forward to is going to summer camp. In summer camp, I have a freedom to explore and be creative.

I can escape the limits of habit and really engage myself in new experiences during this period.Attending painting courses at summer camp is one of my favourite activities. Painting with brilliant colours and using my imagination to bring a blank canvas to life is a beautiful experience. Because of the creative atmosphere at camp, I feel free to try out new methods and looks without feeling pushed.I enjoy taking letter writing classes in addition to painting. Writing down your thoughts and sending them to family and friends back home has an appealing quality. Writing letters enables me to express my deepest feelings and tell others about my experiences at camp.

However, the creativity doesn’t end there. There are a lot of other creative activities available at summer camp. There’s always something fresh to try and discover, from drama and dance to photography and pottery. Every task sparks my interest and makes me feel motivated.Summer camp is a place where I may develop personally and make lifelong memories, not only have fun and games.

This week’s prompt is,

"Write a poem that lets you explore your childhood summer camp memories and experiences. Enjoy the nostalgia of bonfires, late-night tales, and friendships formed under the stars. Talk about the times that are still fresh in your memory. Let your words paint a vivid description of innocence, joy, and innocence that may be experienced in this stage of adolescence."

Giulietta Passarelli shared an ode to a soft and cosy blanket.

Colleen Millsteed shared a poem about the simplicity of life.

I want to invite all the poets from Lifeline. I hope you will like this prompt.
