August’s Fourth Week Prompt Of Lifeline
Exploring the Essence of Destiny
You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.
-Steve Jobs
Destiny is like a special path that life has planned for us. It’s the journey we’re meant to take, a bit like following a map.
Think of destiny as a story that’s already written, but we get to fill in some of the details. It’s a bit like a book where the main plot is fixed, but there are different ways to reach the ending. Our choices and actions are like the chapters we write ourselves. Destiny matters because it gives us a purpose, a direction to follow. It’s like having a guide in a new place – it helps us navigate through challenges and opportunities. So, while we have control over some parts of our journey, destiny is there to show us the way and make our life’s adventure meaningful.
It guides us toward experiences, challenges, and opportunities that are meant for us.It’s a way of finding meaning in the twists and turns of life and ultimately, making our journey more fulfilling.
This week’s prompt is,
Write a poem about destiny. Show how fate shapes paths, and how our choices blend with a bigger plan.
Marilyn Glover shared a magical ode to Moon.
Giulietta Passarelli shared a poem with a vivid depiction of a full moon, an enchanting orb that hangs in the night sky with an almost planetary presence. The moon is like a picture framed by stars at night, always amazing and constant, just like the sun and stars that keep everything in its place.
Neera Handa Dr caught the beauty of growing old in the below amazing poem. She hopes it’s not too late to fix the mistakes they’ve made and make things right.
I want to invite all the poets from Lifeline. I hope you will like this prompt.
