Blown Away

The weather gods.

Photo by César Couto on Unsplash

One minute it’s raining
Next, the clouds have blown away
The wind is chilled like winter
Weather gods hold the sway.

It’s early in the morning
The streets are washed by rain
No others out here walking
The pleasure and the pain.
