Drops of Lost Memory

An old poem that I had written

Little Monster
Lifeline

Rain, cold and loud
But I can still find love in the sound
I can sit by myself
And almost flip through my memories

With every dying little drop
As it crushes itself to its suicide
On my very own lovely rooftop
Funny, something so small can mean so much

I've sat here time after time again
In this very same old spot
So, take me back again
With your sweet perfect sound

Whether good or bad
Let each drop crash
upon the ground
Show me a bike ride

I took through a sweet little town
Show me spending a special moment
With a boy who is no longer around
Pull me back to all the tears

When I knew I couldn’t make it
Just to show me that I am strong
Enough to take it
One moment filled with many
