Poem

I Hope You Know

How much I think of you

Photo by Kate Williams on Unsplash

I hope you know how much I think of you,
from the moment I first answered your cry for help.

You may have said that you were fine,
but your eyes told a different story -
like an old dam, ready to burst at the cracks.
