Inner Child

Childhood my favourite phase of life,

When everything was so lite,

Days were bright,

And the night was spent counting stars.

Thoughts were limitless,

And we were flawless.

There was always time for the loved ones,

And more time to be happy.

As we grow we stop looking at the stars,

We always have no time,

to simply live life.

Our dreams is no longer that wild,

as we stop being that child.

It is a time when we feel,

Life is no fairy tale,

as we learn to fail.

We are no longer that free mind,

As we all realized, everything comes with a price.

We are no longer that happy,

As we have all realized, nothing or no one lasts forever.

I know life is hard,

But it's still worth your time.

So don’t let your inner child die,

Take a moment and smile.
